About Us

Who We Are

The Voice of the Voiceless is a humanitarian organization with the objective of grooming, empowering orphans, widows, internally displaced persons, refugees, needy and the vulnerable across the globe. We don’t have any political or religious affiliations. We hereby encourage all persons of goodwill to partner and/or support us in our endeavors, to permit us impact more and more lives, because living for others is a rule of nature. These and many more are the guiding principles on which we stand with the firm commitment to give in our all until there’s nothing left in us to offer to the vulnerable and underprivileged.

Our history

The Voice of the voiceless was founded in April 2016 by NGONG Christian NCHINDO. Having grown up in a peasant home in Fundong, a locality in Boyo Division, NW region of Cameroon, he witnessed firsthand the challenges that came along with his status. Induced by this single fact and to a greater extent the blubbering of the underprivileged and the vulnerable people in the anglophone regions of Cameroon where he spent his entire childhood, he saw the need for an umbrella organization that could help resuscitate the bruised spirits of these people who thought society had given up on them and were thus inclined to give up on society as well. He started up and began to sell this idea to people around him. Convinced that it was a way out, some of these young men and women who had similar objectives to his, joined hands together to expand the works of the organization. Since creation, we have been an integral part of the lives of the needy, the underprivileged people in the two Anglophone regions and beyond. Humbling but great is our pride that most of these orphans and IDPs have had their spirits renewed through our continues support and incessant visits to orphanages, handicapped centres, hospitals and IDP camps. We also counsel voiceless victims in the face of aggression. We do not only provide relief materials but also train the vulnerable to be able to stand up and speak for themselves in a society where one’s mind and perception means nothing, yet while tradition and authority mean everything. The souls of the underprivileged have been placed on the altar of politics and rapaciousness. We acquire our income through the internal mobilization of funds and support and free will donations from individuals as well as aid organizations. Here at THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2016 we’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. OUR VISION

The Voice of The Voiceless exists to resuscitate hope in the hopeless across the globe by offering financial, material and moral advise to orphans, widows, less privileged and the vulnerable. We also have as an objective to offer scholarships to the less privileged Anglophone Cameroonians with the hope of going international in the nearest future.

OUR MISSION

The Voice of The Voiceless (VOV) is a nonprofit making humanitarian organization changing and impacting lives across the globe. We empower widows through cash gifts, visit orphanages, Internally displaced persons and refugees. We also visit hospitals, prisons, handicapped centres etc. as the need arises. Every academic year, through our special educational program, we pay school fees for the less privileged through our scholarship scheme. We also assist, celebrate and mourn with our members during important personal or family events under special guidelines set forth by the constitution
